I’m Ansley, a photographer based in Minneapolis, where I live with my partner Andrea and our energetic dog, Max. My love for photography began during childhood summers spent at my grandparents' lake house. I was always the kid running around with a camera, eager to document every sunset, splash, and smile. That early obsession grew into a true passion when I picked up my first DSLR in college.

After graduating with a degree in Visual Arts, I packed up my life and started traveling. The mountains called to me, and I couldn’t resist capturing their beauty. Whether it’s hiking the rugged trails of the Pacific Northwest, exploring quiet coastal towns, or shooting bustling city streets, I’ve always believed there’s magic in the ordinary moments. Those little pauses—between laughter, in soft light, or during stillness—are what I aim to capture for others.

I launched my photography business in 2015, focusing on portrait and lifestyle photography. Over the years, I’ve expanded into commercial work, collaborating with local businesses to bring their visions to life. Whether photographing people, products, or spaces, I strive to create images that feel natural, soulful, and full of story.Outside of work, you’ll often find me and David out exploring new hiking trails, paddleboarding on Lake Union, or trying to teach Max a new trick. Our weekends are filled with good food, spontaneous road trips, and quiet evenings spent sifting through our ever-growing collection of photo prints. It’s this balance of adventure and home that fuels my creativity and reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
